Twist was an Web+iOS+Android app you could use to share your location and ETA in real time, and it would automatically send notifications on your behalf once you left and before you arrived. It also sent a notification if it looked like you'd be late.
Provided frontend development expertise to Google's User Experience team and various Google projects.
Responsible for implementation and ownership of the FineTooth's web application frontend. Responsible for scalability, performance, and abstraction of that framework for multiple uses, ranging from our Contract Management software to Patient Records viewers for Hospitals and research groups. Involved in the middle-tier processing layer as well.
The Griffin School is a college preparatory high school fostering genuine relationships in a creative learning environment which enables students to think creatively, demonstrate logic, and solve real-world problems.
At Symbiot, we created a realtime, asset risk management system based on snort combined with os/software vulnerability information. Reports and alerts were a primary feature for this software. There was also a strong focus on releasing a working version of the software as free software to the security community.
I started at the Chronicle in advertising initially, but quickly moved into systems software development for accounting and print publishing. Soon after I became the webmaster, responsible for a high-traffic, database driven website. Coordination and development of online-only content, special issues, and a great many internal interfaces for writers and staff to create and edit content.
Helped to categorize and organize rare books and manuscripts, the online catalog, and coordinate live and silent auctions.
